Around Town

All sports games are free, football and basketball games being incredibly fun because of all the traditions and events. There are also many clubs to get involved with other people and in fun activities. Campus-wide events like homecoming and the first look fair also give out free stuff and have fun games.

There are many student organizations and clubs already established, but starting a new club isn't too difficult. There really seems to be something for everyone.

Go out with friends.

SO many things to do. Clubs, sports, plays, comedy shows, parties, exercise classes, pool.

Walk around and you'll see all kinds of activities happening! Also, the Stamp Student Center

Go bowling at the terp zone arcade on campus. When nice, throwing a frisbee with friends on McKeldin Mall. Outdoor activity fun at the gym (Rock climbing wall, etc.)

Clubs, sports, jobs, you name it!

I love having my space and love having fun, I do not let my fun get involved with my education because its my first priority. For fun I love listening to music and going out with family and friends I have a simple life so for fun I do not do anything wild

Social events and I will advise to attend the First Look fair so as to pick the organization that works best for you.

STAMP or the Student Union building offers many events through out the academic school year. In addition, UMD has hundreds of extracurricular clubs and organizations to join- like reading? Join a book club. Love Harry Potter and the world of quidditch? Join the UMD quidditch team. There is a club for literally everything.
