Around Town

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has many different activities and courses to offer. There are more than plenty of things to do for fun. It is a great college for various individuals because of the many different sports, clubs, and programs that students can join. Not to mention, there is also a student center on campus that you can go into to play multiple activities or workout whenever you feel like it. With that being said, The University of Louisiana at Lafayette provides numerous things to do for fun !

I DO HAVE LOTS OF FUN DOING DIFFERENT THINGS ON CAMPUS. I SOMETIMES STUDY WHEN MY FRIENDS ARE PARTYING BUT THAT'S OK BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT THE END RESULT WILL BE.

There is lots of nice scenery around campus. You can also go and check out Girard park located close to campus. There is also many different events on campus, from get-togethers in the dorms and other events there, to concerts, and festivals, and everything else you can think of. There is also plenty of food places and things around campus, especially towards downtown. As well as plenty of sports games to attend for all the different sports teams. You can also just hang out with friends, find a friend if you don't have one, hang out, whether outside the dorms, in your dorms, or whatever, and just have a good time!

There are many clubs at the school. It is really easy to find a club you like. A few of the main campus organizations hold many fun events like a mini-carnival in the fall, block parties, midnight dinners, grocery bingo, and etc...

On campus there are organizations for just about every interest. Student Government, Special Events, Athletics, Greeks, and other organizations all make up on small part of UL on their own and they each need different kinds of people interested in being a part of them. Off campus there is plenty of night life as well as close movie theaters, bowling alleys, kart ranch, and other places where you can go just to have a good time and kick back.

There are tons of things to do for fun at UL. You can get involved in any of the many clubs and organizations, you could go to the sports games, ride the shuttle to Bourgeois Hall and take part in a fitness class or go for a swim, UL has many fantastic music performances and plays throughout the year, and you could also stay updated with the many different events that UPC holds on campus that include: Block Parties, Crawfish Boils, Movie nights, and even splatter paint parties. UL has many fun things to do, and I believe every year its something new to keep us excited and involved.
