Lots of good options on campus. If you have dietary restrictions (I'm vegetarian, for example) KU Dining does very well catering to those needs. Every dining hall has at least one vegetarian/vegan option at every meal and it is very easy to get the food you need.

The food's consistently good in the dining halls, and there's a few restaurants on campus. There's also a great variety of both chains and local restaurants in Lawrence itself.

It's very Meh. Mrs. E's, the main dining hall usually serves the same 4 meals every day. At first it is really good but by your second month you are tired of it. However, they do have chick-fil-a and some other restaurants on campus.

The food in Lawrence is great, but the food in the Dining Halls gets really old. THis is to be expected, however. There's only so many meals they can cook and they start to get monotonous after months.

there was only one case of food poisoning, the entire week that i was there; whereas at my high school, food poisoning was just a daily deal. i was impressed with the different food choices.

It's hard to give Mrs. E's anything lower than a 3, because they try, they do! They're definitely a step up from high school lunches (ugh), but don't have anything I would order at a restaurant. Except Crunchy Chicken Cheddar Wraps. And their Mac n Cheese is pretty good too...

Greek life isn't consuming as it is on some campus. I am currently in a sorority but it does not consume my life. It will take some dedication and I truly believe that there are no bad houses on campus. Its a great way to make friends and keep you on track with school and volunteering. You also join a tight knit, loving, community.

Greek life is definitely present at KU, but it's not a necessity to belong to a fraternity or sorority.

Greek Life is a great option for a lot of students. It provides a solid group of friends that share the same beliefs and a welcoming living environment. And you don't have to join a sorority that just lives in one of the houses. There are engineering sororities, and fraternities and band sororities and fraternities.

We have a pretty bad problem with rape culture in Greek life. Like, usually a couple pretty bad rape cases a year. However, that is not necessarily unique to the KU campus, as 1 in 4 women have or will be, and 90% involve alcohol. We've got a pretty great party scene though!

I think this college has excellent greek life. I just wish there was housing for the diverse sororities and fraternities. I understand that this request involves money, but not a lot of people know about greek life, so if they knew the benefits I am sure they could help?
