At first, I despised UIUC because it was so different from my high school. But then I grew to appreciate the college campus, student diversity, and interesting classes that I could take if I wanted to challenge myself more. Since there are so many people, you can wish to make as many friends as you please. Even though it is a big school, you can make it feel small and more intimate with a close circle of friends.

There is a limited amount of things to do off campus but the campus itself offers a ton of good activities to keep oneself busy. I like the college life a lot and UofI has a great college life.
