This school is by far one of the most economical I've seen for any public universities. Also, they are constantly improving the infrastructure, dining facilities, recreational facilities etc. so your money is being put to good use. The semester per semester rate is fairly low and with most students receiving some sort of financial aid from the university, it is even cheaper to go here. APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS! You never know what you can get if you don't try.

Shasta's $1 scoop ice cream on the Mondays after the football team wins is my favorite. Tuition itself, it's not bad and if you do well in HS, you can get scholarships from the school that will definitely help.
