I absolutely love the atmosphere both on campus and downtown. Hawaii is an amazing place to live and being surrounded by the Hawaiian culture is such a great experience.

I do some serious studying, but I also have time to get to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and to enjoy learning about a unique culture. I have great floor-mates at my dorm from throughout Hawaii and the world. This place really rocks! I hear some negativity from others occasionally about the classes, but it is what you make of it, and if you arrive with a good attitude and an open mind to learning about a new culture and new people, Hawaii, Honolulu metro area, and UH Manoa are great!
Read MoreThere is a great diversity of ethnicity's and people from all around the country here so of course you get all these different personalities that you will/will not like. It's really easy to make friends here since like half the students are not from here and therefore are all in the same boat of wanting to meet new people. Also there are a million places you can go and explore around the island where there is beautiful scenery and make all your friends' back home jealous.

If there's a problem you can talk to the student government who will help to solve the issue making campus life more awesome.
