Don't be afraid to take chances. I stepped outside of my comfort zone coming to Detroit Mercy, and so far it has really paid off. No one else from my high school that I knew of was going to be attending, but I have already found my place and friend group. Detroit Mercy also provides challenging courses. The best part of that is challenging yourself. It builds a person's character and allows you to break so many boundaries.

the food is pretty bad here and they have a lot of surveys to take to fix the problem. the dorms are not the best - as compared to other dorms at michigan universities. people come here for the academics, opportunities, reputation, and d1 sports. i suggest coming here if you are totally and fully dedicated to getting a great education. also, it is pretty challenging so make sure that you're up for the challenge and don't think that you can just slack. the good part about early admission programs is that you're already in the program; the bad part is trying to maintain the grades to stay in your given program.

Vey expensive, but if your going for a profession that pays well, its worth it. Wouldn't recommend it for anything else. Unless you want to pay off student loans the rest of your life. There's so many colleges to choose from, no shame in going to a less expensive one.
