Couldn't have found a better fit. DU is the kind of place where everyone can find their own niche. From Intramural Broomball to the Spiritual Free-Thinkers Club, there's a place for everyone. I also highly recommend the Pioneer Leadership Program; It's something you apply to in the Spring. I'm part of it and absolutely love it. It's like living with 65 of your closest friends and learning together at the same time.

Clean campus, good people, good spirit. We are the #1 NCAA non-football school in the nation! Everyone is unbelievably friendly, the hospitality has been commented upon many, many times since I've been here. There is always something going on and it is a short (free!) lightrail ride away from downtown Denver.

My best advice to give to any incoming student to the University of Denver is to join special programs offered before classes start. Join the Honor's Program or the Living and Learning Communities. If a student is offered one of these it is an honor and will be worth it. I was offered these programs, but didn't register for any of them. I was luck enough to be invited to be a part of the Excelling Leaders Institute or known as ELI. I registered for this program and met some of the best of friends that I have now. This program is what made my experience at the University of Denver more than enjoyable. I was able to meet and make friends before orientation week and really made making friends and connections easier. With this program I have made not only friends, but family members and they have showed me how great the University of Denver really is. I love being here. There are so many resources and chances to become successful.

I love being on this campus. The campus is small enough where you get to know a ton of people, but big enough so that there's always something to do.
