As an in-state student who's still living at home and commuting, tuition is probably about $10,000 a semester. It was cheaper at a university I spent the past semester at on exchange, but that's only one other place. To me, it seems pretty cheap. One disclaimer: NEVER buy your textbooks from the on-campus book store. They're almost always cheaper to buy (or rent!!!!) on Amazon or sometimes Barnes & Noble. Food is pretty expensive on campus. If you're not on a meal plan and you feel like a UCCS-made meal, the average price is about $8.50, and at that rate you should go to Roaring Fork because it's an all-you-can-eat buffet with just a one-time entrance charge.

Even though UCCS doesn't cost as much as a larger university, it is still not cheap. I think that even though it has some downsides, this university is offering a lot for the amount of money that you are paying to go there. You get to go to the gym and recreation center, get help from tutors, and meet with your professors during their office hours. There are a lot of things included in tuition that you receive as a student that makes it worth while.

way too expensive for the awful professors. if i wanted to teach my myself i would spend time on the internet, and not time and money in some pointless class where the professor doesn't even teach.
