Apparently, even though the course work does increase in difficulty (like in high school) you actually get more engaged in your courses & want to discover better ways to expand your knowledge. Plus the Learning Center help here is excellent!! Go there if you ever need any help in Math, Science, Language, or Writing-type classes

Great school, but kinda small with not a lot going on outside academics.
Read MoreUCCS is an awesome school! Have been attending for a couple of years, but I wish they had more financial help to students who are paying out of pocket
Read MoreHorrible. Financial aid department is a pain. Some professors force their beliefs on you and disrespect world religions. (Fellow student was called a b**** in class by the teacher) Parking is a nightmare and is way Overpriced, especially since you can never find a parking spot you supposedly paid for. Food is subpar. In a nutshell: overpriced, disrespectful, and too focused on outward appearance.
Read MoreUCCS has a small campus but a big community. Even as an Engineering major (the major most notorious for having antisocial students) I've felt connected and included at this school. In addition, the teachers are mostly great and the courses I've taken have ranged from comfortable to challenging.
Read MoreThis university excels in everything from academics to extra curricular activities. It is large enough that you get a large variety of people, and small enough so you don't feel like a small fish in the ocean. UCCS can offer you more than just a higher education, it can offer you amazing experiences with new friends you make and push you out of your comfort zone.
Read MoreVery awesome and fun school to go to. Very good excellent campus, professors, and staff. UCCS is a very good school, where you can make your dreams of your career come true.
Read MoreIf you're wealthy and can afford going to another school, go to CU Boulder or CU Denver. UCCS doesn't have resources, good food, a campus life- I've heard good things about the medical & engineering programs, but the College of Business is a piece of poo both in terms of academic quality & opportunity. Unless your dream job is to work for commission insurance sales, the College of Business career office is a joke.
Read Morejust don't come here if you expect to have professors to care about you or teach you.
Read MoreUCCS is a place where everyone can feel accepted. I am in my 4th year and love the close knit community. The classes are wonderful and I have never had a poor teacher.
Read MoreUCCS has the best learning environment I have ever known. The academic programs, student employment, and student resources are top-notch. Five out of five all around for this school; it's helping me achieve my life's dream relatively quickly.
