I've lived on-campus for two years. I like that the dorms are quiet and study-friendly. We have a study room on each floor and hall of my building (West…

The dorm life is not exactly the greatest housing ever. But, it also depends on the type of housing that you choose to reside in. At UCO, we have many…

Read Morehow good the food is depends on the day.
Read MoreBuddy's is... an experience. Don't eat too much. And you definitely have to be careful about what you're eating too.
Read MoreThe food on campus is nice. There is always a variety of foods to choose from. Whether that be a tablecloth and menu meal, or hamburgers and fries, it's all good.
Read MoreChick-fil-a, pizza, salad, sandwiches, coffee, chances are, whatever you're feeling, UCO has it. UCO has a cafeteria area on campus in the Nigh that has Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, Quiznos, and more. If you don't find anything there then check out Buddy's which is a cafeteria on campus that offers a buffet. If you still can't find anything then 2nd street (the street UCO is located on) has a variety of even more food places. You have a multitude of options. You name it, you got it.
Read MoreThere are several options to dine on campus, especially in the food court. Also, Edmond has a lot of variety in terms of food. You can eat something radically different every day. The campus cafeteria, Buddy's, also has several days that are designated to a different part of the world, so you can explore different food on campus.
Read MoreThe food is tasteful and the there are plenty of options you can go to buddy's and eat at a buffet style cafeteria or go to the grills or even the nigh where various restaurants are offered.
Read MoreBuddy's has pretty tasty food. I do not think I could eat there everyday but it is bearable. The city of Edmond is full of delicious places to eat. You can just drive up and down broadway and find good places to eat.
Read MoreBuddy's is definitely the place to eat. Full buffet with new foods every day makes it almost impossible to go hungry. The chicken nuggets are by far a favorite of most and there is always pizza, cereal, salad and a sandwich bar if you're just not in the mood for what is out. When buddy's isn't open the next best is the grill. They have longer hours and cater to your inner sports fan. If there is a game on of any sport it will be playing on one of the many tv's. They have burgers, chicken, salads, wraps and quesadillas as well as some desserts for the late night study cravings.
Read MoreOnce I knew I was going to the University of Central Oklahoma I knew I was going to rush. Rushing has been such a life changing experience and I'm so thankful for my amazing sisterhood. I was nervous going into recruitment, but right off the bat I knew which house was for me. I've met amazing people and I'm so thankful that I get to be a part of something bigger than myself. These girls are selfless, kind, loving, and so much more. I've already grown so much in the past couple months and it's only he beginning. I highly recommend everyone give Greek life a chance wherever you go. It's much more than the movies portray it as.
Read MoreGreek Life is pretty fun from what I know about it. Fraternity and Sorority members definitely have a busy schedule.
Read MoreI'm sorry, but I don't know much about the Greek life here on campus, as I'm not in a sorority. I have heard from friends that they really enjoy it, and the International house looks really nice.
Read MoreGreek life at UCO is amazing! The organizations do so much for our campus and they are a lot of fun! you will have amazing friends for life if you go greek at UCO.
Read MoreThe sororities and fraternities are an incredible way to make friends and do some pretty amazing things. The greeks have some amazing philanthropies and everyone I know who is in one says they are the way to go!
Read MoreThere is Greek life; I'm sure it's great if you like the idea of paying to have friends. They do good volunteer work, so if you like to pay to volunteer that's good too. They always wear matching shirts that cover their shorts so it looks like they aren't wearing any, so if you like the idea of looking like 29 other girls without pants, then Greek is for you!
Read MoreThere are five sororities and six fraternities on campus. They all have their own unique personalities. Many of our Greeks are leaders on campus, and they wear their letters with pride. Rush happens at the very beginning of the semester so that people can get right in on the Greek experience. Certain sororities and fraternities also do spring rush for those who want to wait.
Read MoreIt depends on a lot of factors if you will love it or not. A whole heck of a lot of people are involved in greek life so it can be hard to find someone who is not. If you choose the right one with the right people the next however many years can be heavenly. However, if you choose the wrong one, your life will be hell. I chose the right one but got involved with the wrong people, they are one of the reasons I decided to take a year off of school and transfer. Be cautious and watch who you open up to.
Read MoreIts all greek to me.
