Around Town

There are always campus events going on.

Go to the fitness center, visit some basketball games, intramurals, etc.

I always scout out campus events for fun! You never know what is happening on campus! Most of the time you can find free t shirts or food on any given day!

To take the edge off of a busy week of studying, the University of Arkansas Ft. Smith holds many free events for it's students to attend to get better acquainted with their peers. Every other month in the Reynold's Room located in the Campus Center, the University hosts a movie night by providing free popcorn and drinks, showing the latest movies that have just been released on DVD. The Resident Assistants also pitch in to activities by hosting events such as smore's night, where residents are invited to roast marshmallows together by the fire. Other on campus activities vary from attending author's speeches to having a campus wide drive in night on the main lawn.

The college has many oportunites for fun if you keep your eyes open. They usually have movie night and fun dances for the younger crowd.

Plenty of clubs and on campus events to get interested in.

There are so many things to do here. There are intramural sports, clubs, and things like athletic band and chorus.

There are many activities, clubs and organizations available.

Students receive one free ticket each to many fabulous events going on at the campus and around town all year long. You simply have to go to the campus's box office with your university student I.D. and you'll be able to receive your ticket.

I am a theatre student. So I don't have a lot of time for things outside of our Breedlove theatre. However, we have the school sports and intramural sports including a Quidditch tournament. (sorry if I spelled that wrong). We have a lot of free activities on campus. We have movie nights, the school shows a movie, usually pretty good ones, and give out free drinks and popcorn. The Drama Club hosts a 'Coffee House' once or twice a month. It's an open mic, you can sing, put on a short skit, or read a poem, and enjoy free coffee. And there are a lot of other things to do.
