the university of arizona is known for its outstanding residence life! with over 20 different halls to choose from, both incoming and returning students have to opportunity to live in…
Dorm life has its positives and negatives, but it's something everyone should experience. The RAs and DAs are very friendly and helpful. I've met so many cool and interesting people…
Dorm life is really cool. Likins Hall is really the nicest of them all. You'll never have any personal space with a roommate around though.…
Honestly, it depends on where you live. If you are coming in as a freshman, I highly suggest living in the dorms because it allows for you to make friends…
the dorms are overly priced and the amenities are not great unless you pick a really expensive dorm. even then, they are still not that good. the rooms tend to…
The are many places to eat at on campus and even off campus right around the corner.
Read MoreFood selection is great your first week.
Read MoreVery little options. Meal cards are obsolete. Save your money and cook for yourself. Purchase a crockpot to make healthier alternatives.
Read MoreUnion food is convenient but gets old very fast, and I hate the food that Highland cooks. Their nachos made me sick for an entire night when I had to get up early to travel the next day.
Read MoreIt works you figure it out and get used to it. The biggest complaint is that we don't have a cafeteria really and that there is only really 1 1/2 unions on campus. That aside if you seek you shall find. There are a lot of hidden gems on campus that either no one really knows about or are just to intimidated to frequent as its considered "athlete central" regardless theres food everywhere you might just have to walk a bit farther. However more at least 65% of campus this isn't a big deal as greek life is big here so many houses have their own meal plans included and students eat there.
Read MoreWide variety of choices, reasonably priced. Cactus grill at the union is my personal favorite (awesome omelets and noodle bowls!). The restaurants along university st add a lot of variety to campus food and the grocery store isn't too far away if you want to cook for yourself.
Read MoreThe UA has the best food! On campus my favorites are Core plus and Cactus Grill. Off campus there's a ton of yummy restaurants to choose from on University like No Anchovies and Miss Saigon.
Read MoreA huge amount of food open for students and staff.
Read MoreThe campus has a wide array of restaurants and foods to choose from. There are also meal plans for students and vending machines for those who are in a hurry.
Read MoreThere is a lot of fast food on campus and it's hard to eat healthy. There also isn't much to eat after 7pm.
Read MoreReally good.
Read MoreNot involved, but a few of my close friends love their fraternities and sororities.
Read MoreLove it. I wasn't greek my 1st year, I am now.
Read MoreIts there if you want it, but not invasive if you don't want to be apart of it.
Read Morei am in a sorority on campus and it's one of the best decisions i've made at the school. i always have a house to go to a a great group of girls i can count on.
Read Moregreek life is very popular at this school and many people are involved in it. there are many houses for almost any girl and there is also multicultural greek life.
Read MoreI know the greek life is supposedly not as good as other campuses, but it seems like there are a lot of hazing and incidents that do not end in a positive way. The U of A is said to have the worse greek life in the collegiate society and may result in losing their funding for the sororities and fraternities. So if you're planning on joining the U of A just to come for the parties, I suggest a different place for the greek life, because it is said to be not the best.
Read MoreAwesome! Make life long friends!
Read MoreGO GREEK. I was super hesitant at first to rush because of all the negative connotations and preconceived notions about it but once you become a part of it you see how great it really is. You have so much support, meet a ton of new people, help the community, and make great connections. All my jobs I have had are because of people in my chapter. I always see a familiar face on campus and have made life long friendships already.
Read MoreOne of the most renown throughout the nation, over 15 fraternities and sororities.
