    Be prepared to not have the schedule or variety of courses available that you would have at another school. Plan to provide your own computer as the technology here is outdated and at times unavailable. If I could do it all again I would go to UAA, UAF, or somewhere else. Other universities offer more variety in classes which are available more often as well as better and more available technology.

    Take a chance and move to Juneau. It's beautiful, the school is amazing, and the faculty and staff are wonderful. I have never been more proud of myself than I am right now for moving 3,000 miles away to study biology at an incredible school in Juneau, Alaska.
