Overall students generally feel like they're learning quite a bit. The professors are great and help you to really understand things. Still, sometimes things are being taught that you MAY have already learned in high school (especially if you took Advanced Placement courses but didn't receive credit), so SOMETIMES classes can feel like review.

Biggest regret of my life going to this school which offers so few classes (some required classes not even offered every year) that many students take 5 years to graduate. Look elsewhere for engineering, look elsewhere if you are female or have a disability -- google all the student lawsuits, this place is toxic. Snobby professors refused to follow disability rules for my hard of hearing friend and admin did nothing to help.
Read MoreI've only been looking for a few months, but it seems like a good school if you're actually interested and want to learn there, as well as having a good network for more social students. It looks like there are a bunch of fun traditions as well!

Read Morei wasn't originally planning on looking at this school, but i visited on my way back from another school (rpi) and fell in love. the campus was breathtaking, even though the weather was miserable. our tour guide was funny, smart, and it was really obvious she wanted us to love the school as much as she did.
Read MoreUnion College has the most beautiful campus in the country. The size is perfect, the students are friendly, and the professors are approachable. It brings together students of all academic interests, including engineering, and forms an incredible community that I will be proud to say I was a part of for the rest of my life.
Read MoreUnion is the perfect blend of academic and social life. Each day you are challenged intellectually in class, and are able to express yourself through many clubs and activities throughout the day and night. The connection among students is powerful and the atmosphere on campus can't be beat.
Read MoreYou can find all sorts of people there. Even if they all seem pretty similar, if you look hard you can dins your own crew. Not only that but the opportunities handed to us are unbelievable!
Read MoreI just finished my freshman year and I loved it. Getting involved in sports/clubs/greek life/etc. helps you meet and become part of close nit friend groups. The academics aren't easy but the trimester system is very unique, in a positive way.
