    Meeting with an advisor every semester is very important. Take advantage of online registering. Make sure to arrive to class at least 15 minutes early to find parking because the parking lots can get pretty packed during the beginning of the semester

    Don't slip up on deadlines and make prior arrangements with your professor referring to going out of town and etc. You have to communicate to these professors on what you want in order to succeed in the class, and ask questions and they will be willing to help you.
