Truckee Meadows Community College Campus Life

The cafe food is AMAZING and always a great price. You can get a student job there as well if they are hiring. They have a culinary arts department that has there own restaurant for practice and it is always awesome to watch them.

Cafeteria is open late in the evening and also on Saturday.

The main campus cafe is one of the best I've eaten! Quality food prepared by the Culinary Art majors and for a good price, you can't go wrong!

Our Culinary Arts program makes all the food so it tastes delightful and it really isn't to expensive. We have vending machines all around as well.

They have a cafeteria and plenty of vending machines for snacks and drinks.

I do not have the opportunity to frequent the food counters.

The food is not the best. There is only one place to eat and it isn't very good and it costs a lot. There are vending machines but I usually go off-campus or bring my own food from home.

Limited places to eat on or near campus.

The cafeteria has a limited variety for anyone seeking to eat healthy (which is VERY expensive, comparatively).

There is one greek club, however it has a fairly stuck-up reputation around school.

Only one Greek society and it is for finding scholarships.

I think there's an honor society. I haven't joined yet because you have to be invited, and although I am currently eligible, it's my first semester so I couldn't be a part of it. No opinion because I haven't been a part of Greek life.

Phi Theta Kappa is a great community to be involved in if your grades are maintained above a certain GPA.

While I don't participate in Greek life, I now there is Alpha Pi Gamma (PTK) which is academic. I know they help a lot with scholarships.

There isn't Greek Life at TMCC.
