Considering the lower tuition rates, the classes are rigorous and I've learned a lot. I plan to transfer to a four year college and all my credits will transfer.

TCC for most students that have little to no family income get the pell grant, which most the time it pays for all of tuition and fees. Of course there are always exceptions! But seeing as its only $3,000 or less for an average student per semester, you really get a lot for your money. The teachers are very caring, and help whenever they can, the food is great, a lot of the buildings are renovated or new construction, and offer a lot of great activities and clubs to be a part of!

Online classes are DEFINITELY worth it. However, I would not recommend traditional classes unless a student is only interested in passing. If you don't care about grades and learning, then yes, traditional classes are probably a good choice. If you show up, you are almost guaranteed to pass. Honestly, the teachers know how bad they are and they pass everyone who comes to class. Personally, I am concerned about my GPA and what I am learning. My GPA has been brought down by teachers who didn't enter my grades into the system, and I have learned nothing other than what I have taught myself.

Definitely the best price for the classes you need. Do as much here before you have to get into double digit thousands.

Financially speaking, TCC is a great way to go, whether your goal is an Associates or you're just getting your general eds out of the way before transferring. Education in general is expensive obviously, but TCC makes things a little bit more manageable.
