Any prospective students should pay attention to the courses they should take and not be afraid to speak up if they think a mistake has been made. Another great resource for students is the website Rate My Professors, as it is a site where other students can rate past experiences they have had with professors.

Get started early! Don't wait to register for classes because it is very stressful. Also, don't try and pack all your classes into one day. I found it helpful to spread mine out since I was also working part-time. Familiarize yourself with the campus before classes actually start so that you won't get lost or be late.

You have to be involved on campus or you will fall prey to the campus. Make sure you have a reliable group of friends to hang out with that are a good influence or you will fall in with the wrong crowd. Make sure you schedule classes after talking to multiple counselors so that you will be properly equipped. Schedule classes with good time to relax and walk between halls (Don't schedule one class that ends at 12:45 and one that also begins at 12:45... it's a terrible idea.)
