The dorms here are astonishingly good. Everyone gets THEIR OWN ROOM, and the buildings are fairly new (in the case of West, brand new). Everyone gets their own sink, the…
I love living in a dorm. It is like a home away from home. You have your own room so you will have privacy. You do not need to share…
The Peer Advisors for the dorms do a very good job and are very reliable. The dorms themselves are very nice and can feel like home if you make it…
Apartments are right next to campus. Very spacey compared to a typical dorm.…
No opinion because I commute. However, I have heard from friends that we have nicer dorms than most schools. Everyone has their own room which is definitely more convenient.…
UTD offers a plethora of dining around the campus from chic fila, smash, firehouse subs, panda express, Starbucks, etc. They also have their own food courts and even more options outside the campus. Due to the proximity to downtown, there is never a worry about where the next meal should come from.
Read MoreThere are some good choices on campus, but they aren't up to par to their off-campus counterparts. Also, the dining hall is absolute garbage. It's good at the beginning of the year but it continually gets worse as the year goes on. By the end of the year, I couldn't even stomach it. Occasionally, however, they'll have themed food and it'll be pretty good.
Read MorePanda Express, chik-fil-a, smashed, and food trucks!
Read MoreWhile the dining hall isn't always the best, the other options on campus are very good. You can get pretty good meal exchanges at places near the dorms like iHop Express, Einstein Bros Bagels, and Papa Johns. Also, there are plenty of places to eat very close to campus that are really good and offer student discounts.
Read MoreThe is a lot of food to eat here. Whether you want to eat Panda Express or IHop, there is something for you to get. Be sure you watch out for the freshman fifteen though.
Read Morethe dining room is new, spacious and well prepared food. get the 10 or 14 day plan! you get meal exchanges in many on campus restaurants including starbucks.
Read Moredining hall is not too good. during welcome week and when families come by, the food is decent, but during the school year and near the end during finals week, the food is worse than dirt.
Read MoreThe dining hall food is often very bland but the Student Union has various fast food places that are always a great choice. The hours are inconvenient at times.
Read MoreVariety of restaurants all over campus like Subway, Chick fil A, Panda Express, iHop, and more. Plenty of coffee shops available. Can be pricey for those with a meal plan. Food can be discounted if bought using your student ID.
Read MoreThere are a lot of places to eat on campus, and as well off campus. However first timers on the meal plan are limited to certain meal plans, it is not until your second time when you're allow to go onto the other meal plans.
Read MoreDefinitely lacking compared to most universities. The Multicultural Greek Council is the only one worth looking at.
Read MoreIt's okay probably the cheapest Greek life for what it's worth. Party's aren't to bad but the school is on the nerdy side so don't expect to go to the most amazing parties. Although some frats have yaht parties
Read MoreThere is greek life. The one thing that is different than other campuses with greek life is that we don't have Greek Houses, but I think they compensate by their activities together and participate a lot at UTD.
Read MoreDecent Greek life system, but no Greek Row/Greek housing. Not really a ton of options, and the administration seems hell-bent on keeping Greek Life from becoming a large part of the college like it is at other universities. However, they really crack down on hazing, so that's a plus I guess.
Read MoreThe Greek Life on campus is not bad for the setting. Obviously you won't be getting the same experience as the universities who have houses, but overall it is an enjoyable experience. Many of the campus leaders are involved in greek life, and this is an extremely easy way to meet many new people.
Read MoreIm not too sure for i have not really check that out.
Read MoreDon't worry there is greek life here at UTD, so if you're into that kind of thing you can join in on it and you'll find that you'll be busy with all the activities that the greek life groups partake in.
Read MoreGood amount of Greek sororities and fraternities.
Read MoreGreek life is lacking.
