1. As a student at UT, you should always join at least one club. This way you can get to know at least a small amount of people. If you're in a tight knit club then you'll end up going places, like parties, together. 2. Don't be afraid to approach people in you classes and introduce yourself. This school is incredibly large and diverse in both its academic fields and student body. It's easy to navigate despite its size and has a place for every student to fit in somehow. The academic quality of UT Austin, especially in its Honors Programs, is already very high and it continues to increase as this university becomes more popular and competitive.

Honestly, of all the colleges I'm researching, the University of Texas seems the most promising. From the moment I visited the campus last year, I knew this was the only place for me. Reading up on everything great about this school online really makes it seem like a dream school.

Rich with tradition, success, and culture, the University of Texas at Austin has an amazing community bringing all students together. Besides Longhorn pride, the location in the beautiful and diverse city of Austin is ideal for any types of student due to the variety of things to do. It is the perfect mix between academic rigor and social opportunities.

Incredible culture, wonderful education opportunities, lovely campus. I've toured UT more than once (two general tours, a tour of the engineering school, and a tour of the nursing school). Each visit never fails to impress me and make me look forward to a potential future here.

After my acceptance letter, my ego has quadrupled! The validation I have received from all departments on campus is so positive. From our family orientation to signing my housing contract, have all gone as promised with constant support and confirmation. All calls with personal questions have been answered quickly. When meeting other students in the college of fine arts, I was immediately welcomed in, given contact names of students that could support me in my specific pursuits, and reassurance that my decision to go to UT Austin was perfect. I am looking so forward to August move in that for the first time ever I want summer to go by fast. Hook'em Horns!
