Student Responses to Review Topic: Am I Enjoying Being Here

This place is my second home. I love being here, especially in the fall with the college football atmosphere every weekend. People here make you feel welcome and in no time, I felt part of the Knoxville community. Being from out of state, the pressure of finding friends and fitting it is always there, but I promise you will find someone just like you here to share your experiences with.

I love the campus here. Although I was intimidated at first of the big campus and large student body, the experience has been wonderful. The campus is gorgeous. The people have southern hospitality.

The University of Tennessee Knoxville is home. Yes, we have a large campus, but there are so many different areas to easily get involved in. I see people I know going to every single class who I have met through my different areas of involvement. The campus seems to shrink the more involved I get. I love the spirit we have hear. There are very few places who will wear orange checkerboard overalls proudly. It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!
