    The food at The New School is fairly good where school cafeteria food is concerned. In the beginning of the year, the food is to die for and it looks beautiful however, after one month of school the cafeteria staff starts to get grouchy and rude to the students and faculty. They're not as helpful and they just don't seem to care. Where the pricing of cafeteria food is concerned, the price of the food can be a little on the expensive side... But I guess it works out fine because of the ridiculously expensive meal plans that you're required to get. I mean, $1650/semester? That's a little much...

    The cafeteria is very good although not centralized to all the dorms. Then again, it is New York City! Anything you want can be found.

    There are different types of food through out campus, there are vegan and vegetarian options as well. My favorite cafe is aver the computer lab on W 13th Street, you can make your own soups and salads.
