-TLU is expensive, so APPLY APPLY APPLY for scholarships. - The dorms are nice but the closets aren't that big, so I would advice you to pack accordingly. You probably wont wear half the clothes you bring plus, you're less than 30 mins from the San Marcos Outlets :) - Get involved on campus, I promise we don't bite. And that's how you make most of your friends. -Have fun, but study hard!

the work load at texas lutheran university is a true challenge to be taken seriously. it is highly recommended for you to be or become organized and on time for each and every class. this university is much more challenging than traditional public schools like utsa and texas state and the acceptance rate is also much lower some where around 60 percent compared to utsa's 90 percent acceptance rated, but if you set aside at least 4 hours a day for your studies and become self discipline you won't have any issues. also join clubs and get involved stats shows that student that are more involved in community events have higher gpa scores.
