While on my campus tour, we walked through the smallest hall of dorms TCU has to offer. The rooms were smaller, but still had enough room for comfort. For me,…
The food options surrounding the campus are so plentiful, and from personal experience, I can tell you that the local places are delicious.
Read MoreMarket Square (often referred to as The Bluu) is better than most college cafeteria's I would say. The food is very repetitive though and can get old fast. As a freshman, unlimited swipes to the Bluu are mandatory. Stir Fry is a crowd favorite and don't sleep on the sand which station with the panini press!
Read MoreWe didn't eat in the dorms but Texas knows how to eat so I am guessing they are great.
Read MoreThe food here is great. However, sometimes it can be repetitive. However, compared to other schools, TCU's dining plan is superior.
Read MoreI have not tasted the food on campus personally, but current students say it is really good (not like high school cafeteria food). They all enjoy eating on campus and like the convenience of being a few buildings away from the dining hall. Meal plans include plenty of food for the average student.
Read MoreIt's good, sometimes, but it basically never changes. Eating the same thing every day gets old very quickly.
Read MoreThe meal plan TCU puts you on is pretty expensive, but unlimited swipes into the union at any time of day kind of make up for that. The food at the BLUU can get a little repetitive, but I've almost never had trouble finding something to eat. There's a smoothie bar, hummus bar, deli bar, salad bar, dessert bar, PB and J bar... And if you're not in the mood for that, we have a Chick-fil-a on campus as well as a subway-style sandwich line at the Union Grounds cafe. Plus, tons of great restaurants within walking distance.
Read MoreSince Texas Christian University is in Fort Worth, there are many food options. But, again, since I am not a student there, I cannot speak about the quality of the dining halls.
Read MoreTheir food court is extremely well run, offering a survey of options, ranging from mexican food to chinese to barbeque. Also, it is open 24/7, and anyone on the meal plan can come there anytime and eat just by swiping their I.D.
Read MoreExcellent food; this is a major step up from high school cafeteria food.
Read MoreFraternities and sororities are quite large here. I originally did not think that I would pledge anything but ended up finding a great group of guys that I felt connected with. Go BETA THETA PI!
Read MoreI mean it's great for some people, but I'm probably going to drop mine next semester.
Read MoreYou've probably heard all kinds of things about Greek life, both good and bad. Sure, it has a large presence on campus, but it's not overwhelming in the slightest. Personally rush wasn't for me, and that has never been an issue. I have friends both inside and outside of the Greek system, and I'm in enough other clubs and activities that I never feel left out.
Read MoreGreek Life here is extremely prevalent. I don't feel really any pull towards it, but if you're considering it, you will fit right in with the crowd and make friends super fast.
Read MoreSeems important, but students say they feel they don't absolutely have to be involved to fit in. There are tons of smaller sororities if you want a specific niche
Read MoreGreek life is huge on campus, and you'll find all types from the stereotypical groups, the the standard setters who focus on getting back to what Greek is meant for - bettering themselves and those around them. It's not necessary to rush if you don't want to, but being Greek only opens you up to more opportunities around you on campus.
Read MoreVery big on campus.
