Read MoreTaylor is a great match for my interests and needs. I enjoy being a student at Taylor for numerous reasons. Firstly, the campus life at Taylor is exceptional. Students are very friendly as well as willing to help others if there is a need. On numerous occasions, other students have helped me with assignments or helped me get involved in more campus activities. Furthermore, living on a specific wing of a dorm has permitted me to personally get to know about 30 other girls. Being able to identify with this specific group of girls and call my dorm wing my home has been very beneficial part of enjoying my time at Taylor. Secondly, Taylor offers numerous ways to get involved within the community and on the Taylor campus. Having the opportunity to be involved in activities such as intramural sports, community volunteer work, and campus chapel has fueled my enjoyment of being at Taylor. Although Taylor is located within a rural setting, ways to become involved and have a great time are always present at Taylor. And best of it all—most of these fun activities cost very little if anything at all! Thirdly, holding a campus job at Taylor has really added to my enjoyment of being a Taylor student. My job not only provides me a steady income, but it also allows me to build friendships with fellow students along with adult faculty members. My job gives me a pleasant break from being a busy college student and helps me to feel productive. Taylor is a wonderful place to discover your niche. It caters to all students’ needs and once you find a great group of friends and activities you love, I can guarantee you will grow to enjoy it just like I have.
Read MoreThe community at this smaller university welcomed me as soon as I stepped on campus. I had the label prospective, but it wasn't derogitory. On the contrary, it seemed to be an honor. These kids were super excited to show off their school and how awesome it was. There were also tons of traditions that are unique to Taylor, and I'm still hearing about some. It was cool to see these guys making the most of every day.
