Great school if you're looking into Agriculture careers or Engineering. Has other majors too, however those other programs are not as well developed and definitely ride backseat to future engineers and Farmers. This school is not what most would call glamorous and has a small town feel. However, TSU is an amazing college to start off with even if you do not finish here. The price of tuition is great however the room and board more than make up for the price difference at other colleges. TSU has great traditions but my main problem is the business side of this university doesnt have all its ducks in a row (or Oscar P's in a row if you know what I mean).

Having a car is the best way to get around when attending here because you'll have to drive at least 30 mins to do anything. They do provide shuttles for students that live off campus so that's nice, not sure if they'll be doing it next year though.

Some professors are interested in having an intern or assistant that would automatically amp up your CV or Resume by enriching your academic career. Not to mention, you would gain invaluable experience, which is needed in acquiring new skills as well as opening up your professional network.
