    For prospective students I suggest registering for classes as soon as the registration window opens, but before you register try finding the professor on RateMyProfessor or ask around to get a little insight on them before registering for their class. Lastly, I suggest going to the learning commons if you do not absolutely understand something and getting close with your professors.
