    I am very much enjoying my time at Stony Brook. I am currently a freshman and have met many people from around the world. During the weekends, a lot of people go home which may make the campus seem dead, but there is usually some type of activity going on on campus during the weekends.

    Stony Brook is a very large school in numbers, but it becomes much smaller once you join an organization on campus. Join a club and it will help your social life greatly. Many tend to stay in their room and study all of the time, but many opportunities exist to meet many people. You make the best of it. Try not to be just another number. Many people are known for their ID number, don't be one of these people.
