Stockton has an outstanding academic advising staff who are ready to assist students in selecting and enrolling in the most advantageous classes for any major. Stockton's smaller class sizes allow professors to give students more individualized instruction outside of class. Stockton also has many partnerships with local organizations such as the Federal Aviation Administration and Atlanticare Health System that give students the chance to pursue internships, work-study programs, and other career-building employment opportunities. Take advantage of these resources as soon as possible, and often throughout your college career to better equip yourself to face the job market.

Take advantage of the nature trails and Lake Fred with your downtime, the campus is truly beautiful all year long. I pursued a political science degree at Stockton and I can say that I learned a ton from some very dedicated professors. My coursework was sometimes intense and sometimes light, but overall I was happy and fulfilled with my education when I graduated. With all of the interesting course options, its easy to get distracted from your major. Many of my friends became "super-seniors" and stayed at Stockton for 5 or more years because they just didn't want to leave! Finish your degree in 4 years or less and save yourself the student loans.
