Get involved! There are so many great opportunities, clubs, and events to take part in. Make the most out of your time at stetson! Don't forget to take time to relax because things can become hectic at times. Always make sure you are staying on top of your work because it will make relaxing and getting involved much easier.

Stetson has great academics. the professors are dedicated and very willing to help. It has a good greek life, free from the problems they have at some othere schools. It is in a great location with plenty to do. The only problem is that their housing is awful. The dorms themselves are fine but, The housing staff is not helpful and in fact creats a toxic environment. Unfortunately because you are required to live on campus until you are 22 and there is no way to take advantage of all that Stetson has to offer without enduring thir horrific housing system, I would reccomend that you look elsewhere for college, unless your parents live in town.

Get out and do activities on campus. There are so many to choose from and they happen all the time. Join clubs. This not only makes your experience more fun, but often these are the people who become like your family. Also, there's a club for just about everything here. Go downtown at least once. It adds to your Stetson experience because you'll feel more in touch with the community, and they love Stetson! If you need help with your work, go to your professor. This is a smaller school so the professors are able to work with each student individually, but you have to be willing to email them and/or take advantage of their office hours. They are there to help you. Visit offices. When you see, or are curious about, different opportunities like internship and trips, or think someone may be able to help you make connections, don't hesitate to send an email or stop by. They are always glad to be of assistance. Most students ignore the Stetson Today email. READ IT. It's where most of the volunteer opportunities and events are broadcasted. Read posters and flyers. Feel free to invite your professors and other Stetson employees to on-campus events. They love to feel included, and it will make you happy to see them there. Some come anyways because they read the bulletins, but it helps create a closer community feel. This is very important to Stetson.
