Student Responses to Review Topic: Am I Enjoying Being Here

I currently live in Gage Hall, and it is such a nice building, with TWO laundry rooms, and elevator, and multiple lounges. The town is so close, and there is a Starbucks Coffee shop around the corner from the academic buildings. Certain dorm halls should be a last choice for most normal, non-partying freshmen, or first-years as SUNY New Paltz calls us. The halls ought to be last choice because of the odors or extremely small laundry rooms, like Shango or Scudder. When looking for a building to live in, check the campus maps! This should heavily impact your choice, consider if you want to be able to run to class in 5 minutes, or would you like to be near Hasbrouck Dining Hall?

The town is very enjoyable. There is a lot to do if you own a car or have another mode of transportation. Personally, I don't have a car and the town and the areas within walking distance can become boring very quickly.

The campus is small which makes it easier to meet people. It's very cozy side of campus and the town outside is so cute. I have grown to love the campus and the people.
