    Visit the campus! It is cold here, there's no doubting that. It's also in a small town, and it is just the kind of setting you need to see and feel to understand. Most people love it, but I know it isn't for everyone; before committing or rejecting this as a possibility, it would behoove you to visit!

    If you dislike the socially confined feel of high school, St. Olaf may not be the place for you. There are just over 3000 students on campus and the physical campus is very small. You also won't find much racial or economic diversity here. Regardless, a St. Olaf class is an experience in which you can have plenty of meaningful discussion and learn not only about your course subjects, but about how to learn better.
