the hornet village suites are wonderful places to stay. with their homey feel, it doesn't make it so hard to get homesick.…
dorm life is good. new dorms was also built recently so that's always a good sign. you have choices and availability.…
Dorm life is pretty awesome. That sums it up! I love staying on campus! Freshman also have the option of upgrading to the suites instead of staying in a community…
the dorm community is open, friendly, and welcoming, but is a non-ideal situation for those who like to study in there rooms and comes attached to an over-priced meal plan.…
never lived on campus…
when i came i was not able to go inside since the actual students were on spring break as well. but, there is large amount of culinary cuisine that is paid in a special way the school has. though i do not like that the school buffet closes around 8 pm.
Read MoreDon't get the 19 meal plan, you won't ever be up for breakfast, trust me. The food at stingers is pretty good, however after a while it does get pretty boring and not as good.
Read MoreThe main food source is Stingers which is the cafeteria. It is alright but you get bored of it pretty quickly. Mondos is the campus's Subway. It has great subs. Then in the student center there is My Grill which has burgers and the is a Chinese Restaurant also. Both are great. Lastly there is Spork which is definitely the place to go if you want Starbucks or a hamburger or hotdog. Spork is open till 1:30 AM so its the place to go when everything else is closed.
Read MoreThe food is great but from what I've heard it is quite expensive so be prepared to eat somewhere off campus or learn to cook!
Read MoreThe food is amazing at the beginning and close to the very end. Pizza and cereal were always my favorite. They like to switch things up a lot is all i can say.
Read MoreThe food is expensive! Most people eat at Stinger's (X building) where every meal is an open buffet that cost $10. There are other options on campus, however. There's a sandwich shop, a Chinese stop, and a burger joint to name a few, but most people once again just eat at Stinger's. The quality of the food is decent, and the big plus is the variety. Pretty much any ethnicity of food can be found on campus, but once again it is pricy. If this doesn't sound appealing to you there are many options surrounding the campus too. Overall, the food while pricy is decent and satisfying.
Read MoreFew options that are only open at certain times. If you live on campus in Howell or Hornet, which you are freshman year, you are required to get a meal plan, get the 14 meals and 200 dining dollars because with the dining halls times even 14 meal plans will be too much.
Read MoreI personally don't a meal plan but I often go to Spork restaurant, SPSU's restaurant. The food is good but doesn't not vary much and also does not take in consideration the vegetarian status of certain people.
Read MoreThe food sucks
Read MoreMany frats and sororities and many chances to join.
Read MoreThere are sororities and fraternities. There is even a whole part of the campus reserved for them.
Read MoreNo idea.
Read MoreThe Greek Life on campus is really good, participating in a lot of campus activities and doesn't act too 'fratty'. Greek life as a whole is very respectable around here compared to other colleges.
Read MoreThere are a few sororities and fraternities here on campus. I am currently not involved in any of them but they seem to have a lot of fun and do a lot of good. Such as one sorority is currently raising money for autism awareness.
Read MoreThere are several Greek organizations on campus. They have recently built new houses for these organizations. They are very active on campus.
Read MoreMultiple sororities and fraternities for students to pledge to.
Read MoreAs mentioned above, the biggest event for Greek Life is Goat Night. It is a competition between the fraternities and sororities for the number one spot. Besides that, Greek Life is very active. It really is a way of life. People who live the Greek Life always have something going on, whether it be going to the gym or having a party.
Read MoreI am not involved in Greek life so I cannot speak to this.
