Go and visit the school before and after you apply. I would also recommend talking with he professors in your major and talking with current students about what they like/ dislike about Simpson. If you can, it would also be a good idea to spend the night on campus. Simpson offers the option to prospective students and it can really open your eyes about the feel.

Try to visit when school is in session. They will even let you sit in one of the classes and observe. Make an appointment for a private tour. If you are into music programs, ask for time with the department head.

Go out for any interesting clubs on campus because they're the fastest way to become friends with a lot of people. Watch out for the food and dorms, both of them aren't as awesome as they may originally seem. Also, beware the squirrels, Simpson's squirrels will stare you down until you move out of their way.

If you have any questions, talk to an admissions counselor. They are so helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get all of your questions answered before moving in, and that your transition to college is a smooth one.

1)If you are going to come to Simpson, learn the names of the buildings; its the only way anyone will know what you are talking about. 2) Ask around about teachers. Because its a private college teachers have a lot of lead-way. Some are reasonable, some refuse to give out good grades. 3) Know how you learn. Take five seconds and google a learning style test. It'll save you a lot of heartache and potentially unless study sessions.
