Sierra Nevada College is a four-year, independent, non-sectarian liberal arts college with graduate programs in Teacher Education. The mission of SNC is to provide a high-quality education in a personalized environment designed to prepare students for successful lives and careers.     They have a lot of outdoor adventure programs that are free or cost very little including shopping trips to San Francisco, Snowboarding/Skiing, and summer activities like rafting and fishing trips. I also found that a lot of students call their teachers by their first name.

    I will enjoy being here because it looks like a nice learning enviroment, and not only do they have ski resorts close but you can also go skiing there and snowboarding.
