    I have experienced living in a building of more than 500 students for two years. Living in the residence halls is a requirement for the first two years of attendance. This experience offers a wide range of experiences from new cultures, to new world views, to new religious backgrounds. I have learned a lot about others through this experience, and I have had a ton of fun doing it.

    I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, but I know of two people who had to leave after their first quarter because scholarships and work study did not pan out as promised, which is making it tough. the housing regulations can get a bit irritating at times, and can limit the ability to study and hang out with friends. Even so, the people are really great.

    I love SPU and the community. SPU love love loves community! There is something for everyone. I will forewarn that is a very Christian-centered environment. That being said, there is no pressure to follow that faith, but you should be comfortable with the majority of the student body being of Christian faith.
