The food is pretty subpar, just like any other college. But, SCAD has a range of dining halls around Savannah. My only complaint would be the Cafe at the Hive. Their food can be questionable and have made students sick in the past. Besides that, their other dining halls such as Carnival and Ration at the Ogelthorpe House are very good!

The dining hall is buffet style, so there's no limit to how much you can eat. There's delivery to dorms for busy schedules, and food can be taken out and back to rooms. There's also a cool smoothie shop next to the gym.

The hub at SCAD Atlanta has it’s ups and downs. Though sometimes they can use pre-packaged foods or even reuse items from the other day, I applaud for having such a diverse meal selection. They have food from asia, the south, even the caribbean! I, myself miss the food from home and it makes me so happy when i can SCAD’s plantains! It reminds me of home and it makes me more excited to go home and it delicious and savory food!

The dining system of having meal-plans for students on-campus is great, but The Hive's food is not great, although it has improved since last year. Artisan Deli is a good choice too, but all of the dining areas get packed during the lunch and dinner hours after class.

The food, for the most part, is very delicious but it becomes a little old once you've tasted it a few times. There are plenty of options but don't try to stick to one type of food, it gets rather old and you wish you were eating something else instead of the same meal all the time. But for an all-you-can-eat buffet for one meal swipe, it's worth it.

The variety of food that SCAD's cafes offer are by no means as good as mom's cooking, however the food is still enjoyable. The meal plans are also fairly priced. For those who prefer to eat out some nights, the main campus is centered in downtown Savannah which contains many excellent restaurants to choose from with a very city-like ambiance.

For a college our food is pretty good. Bon Appetit is a catering company that supplies all staff and meals to our dining halls. Our options change daily. Local farmers supply a lot of our fresh food. The dining hall hours are convenient with class schedules. We have a variety of different dining halls, the majority are buffet style. We also have a Diner and Asian restaurant- style dining halls. There is an option for everybody.

SCAD does not feature any Greek life; however, students living off campus have been know to create independent Greek establishments.

SCAD does not have Greek Life and probably never will. A lot of my friends are involved in Greek Life and I though it would be something I would feel left out of coming to SCAD but, I find that I don't. At SCAD you most likely will not have time for anything like Greek Life, you will be fully involved in the creative atmosphere and you will find that you need nothing else.

there is no greek life at savannah college of art and design. which is great for students who just wanted to be apart of the arts. scad does offer clubs- if you want to create a club all you have to get are a group of students and a prof.

As unfortunate as it sounds, Greek life is nonexistent at SCAD. Aside from those that may have an affiliation either through relatives, the only known way to become a part of any form of Greek Life, is to join one of an outside campus.
