For incoming high school students, be prepared to write detailed notes continuously throughout each class. If you are commuting to to San Jose State, be prepared to have to take morning classes and leave your house early. This is due to finding parking and getting through traffic in the morning. Also, finding parking can seem impractical with such and impacted school. For the third tip of advice, get involved with school spirit. never hesitate to ask your professors for help. they are here for you; they are also available at their office. if you don't ask, you will fail. make sure to keep in touch with your professors if you are having concerns. in addition, counselors are even here to help you with anything you have in mind. remember, since you are paying for your tuition, you also pay to see the counselors, so take advantage of the resources that are available at sjsu.
