The dorms at Samford are far, less acceptable as compared to other schools in the area. Even the upperclassman dorms are of worst quality than freshman dorms at other colleges.…
Guys dorms are decent. Most of Smith Hall has suite style bathrooms, which is a definite plus!!…
The students are amazing and the dorms are beautiful...if you're not a freshman.…
I only experienced the cafeteria food and what I have to say about it is that the lines moved pretty slow but the food was good once we got it . The mess hall was extremely large and there where plenty of places to sit and eat. There are other places to eat other than the cafeteria like the on campus Chik-fil-a but I sadly did not get to eat there.
Read MoreThe Caf has the same food a lot of the time and a lot of it is sub par. You should also check to make sure your dishes and cups are clean before you use them. But there is a health food place called Freshens in the college of health sciences building that has really good food until they run out of ingredients. They also take meal plans instead of bulldog bucks which is a huge plus. The food in the food court is also pretty good and the ladies at Chik Fil A are generous with the fries! Einstein's bagels in the library is pretty good too and is a yummy option when you have too much studying to do to leave the library.
Read MoreThe caf has a good variety of food every day. Although it's not home cooked meals, there is no reason to complain about the food. Compared to other cafeterias, this one is awesome!
Read Moresmells so good
Read MoreThere is not a lot of variety available, just the Caf and the Food Court. The Caf is mediocre institutional dining at best.
Read MoreThe caf offers many different specials in an all you can eat buffet style.
Read MoreThere is a Chick-fil-A on campus along with a coffee cafe which has been voted by students to surpass Starbucks. I went into the cafeteria and the menu all looked very delicious. There was a salad bar, sandwich bar, and a section devoted to home-style cooking. My guide also told me that if there is a type of food that you really would like to eat, you can make a suggestion and the staff would cook it. She also told me that the pizza was top notch.
Read MoreChef Vizzina is fantastic! Caf meals are typically well done and the food court allows many options. O'Henry's Coffee is also great.
Read MorePoor. There is only one cafeteria and it has the same food every day. The UC has a a subpar sandwich place, and downright gross Mexican and Italian food. The only good part is the Chik Fil A. The meal plans are a ripoff and the people who work in the caf are rude.

Read MoreThe Greek Life on campus does not have as strong a presence as at other schools. I did not rush and I have had no problem making friends both in sororities or independent.
Read MoreGreek life at Samford is awesome! There is no pressure to join a Sorority or Fraternity, but if you do it will be a blast! There is a good balance of greeks and independents here.
Read MoreGreek life on campus is the overwhelming majority of people, but there is a good group of independents on campus. Greek life is not all it is cracked up to be, but here at Samford, most sororities are not stereotypical.
Read MoreGreek life is healthy on campus, but there is a good balance between greeks and independents.
Read MoreThey say that 30% of the student population is Greek. Sometimes it feels more, sometimes less, it just depends on if it is Rush week or not.
Read MoreGreat, but not as active with independents as wanted, although the fraternities and sororities are like family.
Read MoreThis is the sole basis of any social interactions at Samford University.
