Be prepared to jump into your classes, and for it to end just as quickly. The classes are very fast paced, but the teachers are very understanding if you're not comfortable jumping into everything. The dorms are very strict, so don't break the rules if you are a trouble maker. The math and science professors don't screw around, so seriously study! Love this school ??

Do not live in Pablo if you can help it. Your car will get broken into, your stuff will get stolen. I recommend Polson if you want a slightly more active night life and less break ins. Winter lasts from September until April so be prepared.

Tips I would give to students looking to transfer here or first time college students, would be, don't be afraid to ask questions. There are many advisors and all the faculty are very skilled at what they, which is helping you through every step of your degree.

Always explore your options, know what classes you want to take and take the time to prepeare your schedule before going to see your advisor. It will save you a lot of time and you will know in advance if the classes you choose are going to conflict, making it easier to find adjustments. Also, never be afraid to ask for help! We are all here for an education, so in that, we have a common goal, help is out there, you just have to be willing to accept it. Good Luck!
