Okay. Nice campus, library, website. Awful food, that's why you'll see long lines at Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks also on another campus. Very disconnected, more focus on administration less on students. Your struggles usually get a blank look from your professors who have little signs in their offices that say "No Whining". They seem to forget we help to pay their salaries. Students are very, very cliquish, don't talk much, unsociable on the most part. The City of Salem is great to explore, one benefit of being there.

In the time I have been at Salem State, I have seen the prices increase almost every year. I am sure this is across the board. While I love my educational experience at Salem State, I wouldn't say it is hundreds of dollars better than when I started!

Bang for the buck depends on your major. As a theatre major, I'm involved in one of the best programs in the country for free due to my financial aid. I would recommend any theatre student seriously consider Salem State.
