    This is not a school that people interested in a big night life should come to. Students should know that unlike other schools Saint Peter's applies scholarships before financial aid so they do not give out refund checks. Overall the school leans more toward the expensive side.

    take a tour of the campus, even if you don't plan on residing on campus. st. peter's provides a wealth of information for prospective students whether you are an adult learner or freshman. sit down with an advisor and participate in planning your schedule.

    The school does its best to cater to freshmen by showing them the best dorms available and the brand new buildings. The buffet is on the better side, but not the best. The school has requirements you won't find in a typical state university, such as two semesters of theology. It is best to take 5-6 credits every semester or it can be difficult to graduate on time, especially if you double major or seek a minor.
