SUNY Oswego is very generous with its financial aid and have multiple payment plans to help cover costs over time. The shops in the area are greatly affordable as well. For instance, to go bowling it's only $5 for 2 games. SUNY Oswego also gives students stickers on their IDs that allows them to travel cheaper around town.

As a broadcasting major, having things on campus like the TV station, WTOP, and the radio station, WNYO, really gives me the opportunity to learn more about the broadcasting field before i go out into it. I think that's my number one thing that makes paying out of state tuition worth it.
