The only reason why I can't bring myself to put a fifth star is because nothing truly beats home cooked meals from my mother. The dining halls have a great variety of meals and desserts from day to day with each hall having specific specialties. The best thing about food on campus is having late night, which is extended hours to eat going to 11pm.

The food is actually pretty good! It's still dorm food but it is good and there is always a ton of options everyday for every meal. Plus with dining dollars you can order food off campus at night without paying cash, but using your dining plan!. There is always options and good food to eat no matter your favorite tastes!

the food is actually really good for a college. i've visited a few of my friends at their colleges and the food didn't hold a candle to oswego's. you would expect that a private school would have better food, but in my experience that's not the case. and if you decide that the food at the normal dining hall isn't something you want that day, oswego has a made to order center called mackin where you can order burgers, paninis, salads, and many other things to your liking.

There is way to many food options that are all around campus. You will never go hungry on this campus. There are just to many options to choose from.

The dining halls have a lot of options for people who have specific food needs. I am a vegetarian and there are rarely any days when I can't find something to eat. Everyday a deli is open in the dining halls so even if you don't like what is being served for lunch or dinner you can always get a wrap or a sandwich. They also have bagged lunches for if your schedule is really busy and you can't get to the dining hall during the times they're open.

Well, the food here is definitely not a huge factor in why people choose SUNY Oswego. There are a couple of meals that I find to be very tasteful which include popcorn chicken, steak, wing (they have a wing night), belgian waffles, and pancakes. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. Other than that, there is not much variety for vegetarians.

The food diversity is great, though you can see a pattern eventually. This is no problem as there is always the option of a salad and whatever specialty the dining hall you happen to be in is serving.

The food here is very good and there is a great variety of foods for students with all sorts of wants/special needs. The dining hall takes pride in listening to students by offering comment cards that are regularly answered and posted and take great consideration for any suggestions.

There are tons of sororities and fraternities associated with SUNY Oswego. They're in the area but may not be that easy to spot.

There are always frat parties going on during the weekends. Sometimes the frats will hold events on campus but i don't see events held by greek organizations as much as other clubs on campus.

Greek life is alive at this school so if you want to get involved with a fraternity or sorority then you have every chance to do so. The school is very strict against hazing so while you should always keep an eye out for your own safety, it is nice to know that the school is aware and has no tolerance for such acts.

As a member of a sorority, I can say a lot about Greek life. Sometimes Greek life gets a bad reputation but at SUNY Oswego, it's not what people expect. Hazing does not happen during the joining of fraternity's/sororities. Oswego makes sure to have programs that exemplify hazing and what kind of things would be considered hazing. Greek life is a big part of SUNY Oswego and joining a fraternity/sorority can be a great decision if you are looking for form new and long lasting friendships.
