Dorm life isn't too bad. The dorms are community style, so it isn't much different if you come from an area where apartments are prevalent. I like the way the…
i am a commuter, so i really can't say much about dorm life!…
Overall I think the dorm life is one of the many good things at Buffalo State. The rooms are bigger than most rooms I've seen at any other college and…
I am a commuter, so I cannot respond to dorm life. From what I can tell, many of the freshman and sophomores enjoy the family environment of dorm life.…
The dorms at Buffalo State are not the greatest. They are pretty small and you have two roommates sometimes. The student apartments however, are really nice and big but you…
not worth the money. terrible food! don't waste your time with this school please!
Read MoreChoices are slim.
Read MoreI would like to know more information about his.
Read MoreFood and dining definitely has its perks. Always check what they serve in residential, it will definitely help. Do Not overdue the eating, the weight is not cute.
Read MoreIt's repetitive and you'll get tired of it. However, the retail aspect has some pretty addictive options, especially if you favor Buffalo Hot Wings.
Read MoreThere are various food courts that a student can go to for meals, snacks, coffee etc. The Buff State campus definitely has a wide variety of food that students can choose from. There's a Subway where you can get a customized sandwich of your liking, there's a stand that specializes in Caribbean cuisine that's very pleasing to the palate, and there's various other stands as well as vending machines around campus that a student can choose from if they fell like snacking.
Read MoreThe food is mediocre at best. There are some days where the food is just plain awful, as if there was no effort put into the product they're giving us. However, in rare cases the food isn't bad (usually breakfast). I can recall the french toast sticks, omelettes, and tater tots not being so bad. In contrast, foods like bacon are terribly prepared, and the scrambled eggs at the station separate from the omelettes are clump-like and runny. They try to add some zest into our lives by having special days where they give a new kind of treat, but the inconsistency over powers the rare occasions. I'm at a point where I kind of give up on expecting any good food there. Luckily, there is a separate dining location right across from the dining hall which is known as retail dining. At retail dining there is Subway, Train Grill, Roots, Bluw, Chopp'd, and Salsaritas, Each of the establishments serves different food at least from a cultural sense. If there was no retail hall, I would probably be suffering from the likes of the dining hall.
Read MoreThere is good food and there is bad food. There are cooks that you would prefer over others. There are a variety of food that is served including Chinese, Mexican, and the usual one eats at home. There are retail stores Subway, Train Grill, which serves sandwiches like Bronx burger or Brooklyn cheese burger, Salsarita, Jamba Juice, Tomato, and this Jamaican retail store.
Read MoreFood is a bit expensive, but not bad.
Read Morehah, they're okay but they're bad compared to others at bigger universities. go to a better school for better experience.
Read MoreWe have it and they do a lot on campus. They're cool kids. But, it's not the same as down south greek life or what you say on T.V.
Read MoreThere's fraternities and sororities that hold different events and do many fun things on campus.
Read MoreNot a part of Greek life and not familiar with it.
Read MorePlenty of them
Read MoreI am only interested in the Divine Nine organizations , and I have to say Buffalo has a active Divine Nine on campus meaning, we have people of EVERY org (AKAs, Deltas, SGRhos, Zetas, Alphas, Kappas, Q's, Sigmas, & Iotas) and it is very interesting to watch. Some are interested in joining, others aren't - its something that you don't really talk about because it is suppose to be very secretive. You don't have to join to enjoy watching probates, parties, or events - but if you do join YOU ARE A LUCKY ONE. Buffalo does have other organizations that are respected but I think that the Black Greeks are a lot more fun especially when you are at events, and they get a shoutout.
Read MoreGreek Life, is a big part of Buffalo State's student life. They are always having programs for people who like to pledge a sorority of fraternity. There are fraternity and sorority houses but don't expect to see the Greek letters plastered on the front of the house like they do in the movies.Greek Life majority is African American and Latino, they hold most of the programs and are really involved with other aspects of the school. They are all very approachable as well
Read Morenot in a sorority but I see several on campus
