    Rutgers Newark is intimidating at first, it is a big campus and Newark is very congested. I would say keep in mind where you will park even if you have a parking pass for the school arrive early as it is not secured parking. New students there is a lot of diversity in this school which is nice since you won't feel alone.

    Don't come here if you are looking for lots of campus activities and a traditional campus life. Lots of students are commuters and you would have to make more of an effort to meet people. Also, it's not really an unsafe campus as most people believe when they hear about this campus.
