    Big Ed's pizza. It's been in town since Oak Ridge was built. The atmosphere is that of a Chicago pizzeria. Just roam around. There's tons of treasures here that I have yet to discover!

    Roane State is an excellent place to begin college life at. It provides a small-scale college experience, so you are not overwhelmed. The people are very friendly and the campus is very cozy. Most importantly, it is much cheaper than a university, and some of the professors there are just as good as ones you may find at larger schools.

    Since Roane State is a community college, it is a lot less expensive! I am getting some of my general education requirements done here for way cheaper and getting to stay at home for another year.

    Tennessee is a little more expensive than other states for community college, however, Roane State's tuition is no higher than any other community college in the state and Roane State offers a lot more class options than most community college in the area.
