The area is so pretty whatever you need is pretty much down the street from you, which is pretty cool. I mean who doesn't want to be within walking distance from where they need their necessities.

I enjoy the fact that our school is always involved in some kind of fun activity or even a lecture. Everyone knows each other, maybe not personally but at least by name. Philander has a welcoming atmosphere that draws people in and makes them feel good about being there. It also helps that it is a small school that makes big things happen like the Bless the Mic.
