Tips I would give prospective students is to take advantage of what PVCC has to offer and find what you love here then go to a university that will help you with this. By choosing PVCC as your first choice to attend, you can save money and find out what you really want to do with the rest of your life.

There are SO many scholarship opportunities so take advantage of them! You can apply for the high school feeder scholarship, or place into the honors program and your tuition is basically all paid.

My biggest tip for students is to take it slow and have fun with the time you have here. Most of the time students come to community colleges to be able to explore their future career paths with less pressure than larger universities. For those who have little to no idea of what they want then my suggestion is to get involve immediately in a club or group leadership class where they are able to discuss and explore their interests. Eventually, through trial and error exploration, students will be able to find their path thanks to all the great people and resources at PVCC.

PVCC is a great community college that is around a great area. This college is not to big but not to small either, I feel that it is just right. I have been there for a year and a half now I have made many great friends and memories on this short journey. This school is very easy to navigate around and has many many great places to have your needs met. The KSC building is the place for that. It includes the welcoming center which has financial aid, help to get classes set up with an adviser, and counseling. There are also other great places in the KSC such as the testing center, veterans center, Puma Press, the book store, public safety, career services, and also student life and leadership as well. Student life and leadership is a great place to go to if you as a student is looking for involvement and also receiving leadership skills as well. Lastly I would have to say that this community college is a school that I will always remember and know that I got a great education out of it as well
